The Mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, received in her office our Managing Director, Smadar Kahana, to thank her for the charity action carried out on behalf of Engel & Vólkers for the most vulnerable families in the city at the beginning of December.
The meeting took place in the Mayor’s office and during a pleasant conversation words of gratitude were exchanged. Both the Mayor and the Director of E&V Marbella agreed that this type of activity is more necessary than ever and that the 9 tons of food donated will mean a respite for 1.000 families in the city affected by the Covi-19 crisis.
This opportunity also served to thank the efforts of the Mayor’s Office, which maintains Marbella as a reference city in Europe for tourism and real estate investment. The importance of the work of Engel & Völkers Marbella, who manages 10% of the real estate investment in the city, was also mentioned.
Corporate social responsibility goes hand in hand with the work of state institutions and with meetings like this, more actions in favour of communities and people are possible.
